Brian Slipka, a MN-based entrepreneur, former senior VP and head of Technology Finance (TCF Capital Solutions) with Shea Huston, a former regional VP of central &western U.S of Winthrop, declared the launch of Honour Capital, a recent capital finance company.

Slipka states, “We have brought together a high- performing team to fill the void in capital finance through the combined aspects of banking, including its access to stability and capital with being institutionally independent. It also has lesser regulation, several funding sources, and creativity in transactional and underwriting process.”

Slipka will serve as CEO with Huston serving as President. Meanwhile, its Honour Capital leadership will include Amber Benavides (former banking Senior Credit Manager) as the Chief Credit Officer and Shannon O’Toole, an attorney that represented financial and business institutions as the General Counsel. 

Huston remarks, “Honour Capital attends covenant-based relationships within the marketplace, not transactions.” He further elaborates, “As technology and banking marketplaces come together, companies receive fewer and stricter source of transactional-based capital. A tremendous opportunity is seen to fill the gap left by traditional vendor financing and banks and help companies acquire the diversified capital structure it needs to grow.
